Main Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating and/or advising on contracts and other legal documents (supplier declarations, declaration to corporate ethics)
- Risk management (staying up to date and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations)
- Counselling on a variety of legal issues within the company regarding contract status, legal risks and business terms (civil law, business law, partnerships, international ventures, export control law etc.)
- Monitoring the relevant internal approval procedures (e.g. export control)
- Communication with external parties (other affiliates, regulators, external counsels, public authorities etc.)
- Managing, reviewing and maintaining internal policies in cooperation with relevant departments as well as the headquarter in Japan and facilitating understanding of those policies by executives and employees
- Ensuring compliance with data protection law and communication with the Data Protection officer
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in commercial / business law; qualification to practice in any jurisdictions is a plus
- 3 years working experience in a business environment
- Knowledge of German and EU commercial law regulations
- Cooperative and solution-oriented attitude
- Attention to detail and the ability to keep deadlines
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Outstanding communication skills in English and German (both verbally and in writing); Italian/French/Japanese language ability is a plus
