Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like energy storage, new mobility and industrial manufacturing.

• Coordinating activities in global chemical regulations in collaboration with global colleagues, ensuring compliance
• Preparing and maintaining regulatory statements for customers’ inquiries
• Collecting, preparing and reviewing materials needed for registration and submissions to regulatory agencies
• Staying up-to-date with laws and regulations for risk management in collaboration with our Public Affairs team and Japan headquarters
• Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in compliance with EU and global regulations
• Managing dangerous goods related activities in the innovation center
• Strategically achieving and maintaining a balance between regulatory concerns, marketing objectives, time to market, technology, and compliance

• University degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, (eco)toxicology or equivalent)
• Several years of experience working in regulatory affairs in the chemical industry
• Excellent communication and writing skills (Fluency in English is required, other language skills, especially Turkish and other European languages are advantageous)
• Ideally some experience in international regulations such as EU REACH/CLP, KKDIK,, TSCA, etc,. as well as US FDA regulations, EU FCM regulations and/or other global regulations for food contact compliance (BfR, etc.), Knowledge in REACH-IT and IUCLID are a plus
• Self-motivated and proactive working style
