Role Overview

As our Email Marketing / User Communication Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy development of our email marketing efforts, ensuring they support overall company goals. You will analyze the best technological setup for our future email marketing and communication strategy and lead the implementation or transition into the new technology. Additionally, you'll oversee the monthly update of transactional emails, ensuring alignment with other communication channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing Strategy Development: Shape and drive the overall email marketing strategy to meet business goals and maximize user engagement.
  • Technological setup: You will analyze the best technological setup for our future email marketing and communication strategy and lead the implementation or transition into the new technology.
  • Partner Country Solutions: Develop tailored email marketing solutions for partner countries, acting as the primary point of contact for these regions to ensure market-specific needs are met.
  • Personalization and Recommendations: Implement and optimize personalized content and recommendations within email campaigns to improve user relevance and engagement.
  • Push Notifications: Manage and coordinate push notifications in alignment with email and other communication channels, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
  • Transactional Emails: Oversee the monthly update of transactional emails, including the promotion of relevant events by country, and ensure alignment with push notifications, newsletters, and other communication efforts.
  • Print Campaigns: Introduce and coordinate personalized print campaigns, ensuring they are in sync with digital communication efforts across all channels.
  • Performance Reporting and Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of email marketing campaigns, transactional emails, and push notifications, using insights to drive continuous improvement.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Professional Experience: You should have 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in email marketing, user communication, and campaign management. 
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in email marketing platforms (such as Customer.io), marketing automation, and data analysis tools are essential, along with a solid understanding of personalization strategies and cross-channel communication.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required, including proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). The candidate should be able to effectively collaborate with international teams and stakeholders, and must be located in or able to work within the European time zone. Experience in managing communication across different cultures and markets is highly valued.
