Project Manager Plant Engineering – Data Center (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager for plant engineering, you will be responsible for the successful execution of our international projects in the data center sector. Working closely with and supported by the Business Unit team, you will act as the main point of contact for customers, partners, and suppliers during the project execution phase. The position is fully remote.

• Supervising our international partners and subcontractors and directly supporting customers during project execution
• Responsibility for our projects in the installation of fire suppression systems from technical, commercial, and contractual perspectives
• Responsibility for the development of P&ID diagrams and installation planning in close cooperation with the engineering department
• Planning and coordinating the deployment of installation engineers and technicians up to commissioning and handover to the customer
• Requesting quotations, negotiating with, and supervising subcontractors
• Working independently while maintaining close collaboration with the Data Center Business Unit team

• Completed qualification as a Master Craftsman / Technician or a comparable university degree in a technical field
• Several years of professional experience in project management (ideally in data centers, fire protection, building services engineering, or HVAC/plumbing)
• Experience with high-pressure water mist systems, gas extinguishing technology, and detection systems
• A systematic and structured way of working is one of your strengths
• You enjoy working with customers and managing technical projects
• Very good German and English language skills
• Strong customer orientation and structured working style
• Confident demeanor and strong negotiation skills
• High willingness to travel and flexibility
