• Implementation of intelligent optimization algorithms for the automated scheduling of service orders
• Integration of real-time data, geo-information systems and traffic data into the planning logic
• Development of scalable backend systems for the real-time scheduling of large volumes of data
• Collaboration with product management and service processes to continuously improve the solution

• Sound knowledge of algorithms and combinatorial optimization
• Experience with mathematical optimization (e.g. MIP, heuristics, constraint solving) and calculation of relevant KPI
• Knowledge of route planning, ideally with GIS integration
• Practical experience with optimization libraries such as Google OR-Tools, OptaPlanner or Gurobi
• Confident in working with modern backend technologies (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, NodeJS, TypeScript)
• Experience with cloud architectures (Azure, AWS) as well as cluster technologies and distributed systems

• Knowledge of field service management, logistics or scheduling is an advantage
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of real-time data processing (e.g. Kafka, stream processing)

• Structured thinking, analytical understanding and quick comprehension skills
• Ability to work independently and with a high level of problem-solving skills
• Team spirit and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
• Very good German (C1) and English skills (at least B2) are essential.
