Fund Controller (m/w/d) in full-time

In this role, you will be the interface between our investment managers and other competence centers and will take on responsibility for the following tasks:

Your area of responsibility:

  • Ongoing fund controlling in close coordination with internal departments and external service providers
  • Review and approval of the monthly IFRS NAV calculation
  • Preparation of monthly investor reporting
  • Preparation of performance analyses at property and fund level
  • Carrying out target/actual comparisons and variance analyses
  • Conception and implementation of customized reporting solutions
  • Further development of existing fund controlling systems and instruments
  • Supporting the implementation of capital measures and distributions
  • Reviewing capital calls, distributions, equalization payments, monitoring the approval of invoices, payment processing and cash management
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents for investment committee meetings
  • Processing ad hoc requests and customized reporting solutions in response to client requirements
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with investment law reporting requirements
  • Participation in all tasks related to the life cycle of the funds

The job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or comparable training, ideally with additional qualification as an accountant
  • At least three years Professional experience in accounting and initial experience in (Fund) Controlling, preferably with a Capital Management Company  
  • Sound knowledge of accounting according to IFRS, Lux GAAP and HGB is desirable
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Able to work in an organized and structured manner with attention to detail, whilst remaining flexible and able to prioritize workload to deliver to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, be self-motivated and a team player
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English and German, French would be a plus
  • Willing to travel occasionally
