LP Developer (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, with location in Berlin, is currently under trust management of the Federal Network Agency.

We are responsible for the management and optimization of PCK, MiRO and Bayernoil refineries as well as for the marketing and sales of mineral oil products.

• Model Development: Develop and maintain complex Linear Programming (LP) models to simulate operational processes across our refineries
• Validate and calibrate the LP models using historical data, ensuring alignment with future operating conditions and constraints
• Document model updates and modifications clearly and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
• Provide technical advisory support to various stakeholders on LP and optimization matters, e.g. crude selection, product slate, process units and operational constraints
• Communicate the LP results and recommendations effectively and follow up on the implementation and monitoring of the actions

• Successfully completed advanced degree in Engineering or a related field
• Extensive experience in developing simulations to extract shift vectors and process objectives
• In-depth understanding of engineering standards, economic principles, and calculation methods
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication, presentation and reporting skills
• Business fluency in both German and English
