Head of IT Infrastructure and Operational Services (m/f/d)

• Managing a team of three internal employees and overseeing external IT service providers
• Leading, coordinating, and strategically aligning the IOS teams (e.g. IT Service Desk, End User Devices, Data Center, Network & Database Services)
• Reporting directly to the CIO
• Aligning and strategically aligning the IOS technologies with the aim of identifying and leveraging synergies through the joint use of resources and technologies
• Ensuring IT operations (IT service desk, data center, hardware, databases, etc.) at all RDG company locations
• Managing of the IOS budget

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Over five years of experience in team and project management, as well as in service and contract management
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, storage (NetApp, NAS, SAN), cloud solutions (Azure/AWS), blade center technology and virtualization (VMware), operating systems, and databases (Windows, Unix, Oracle, SQL)
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ITIL frameworks
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and structured problem-solving approach
• Confident use of MS Office
• Fluent in English and good knowledge of German written and spoken
