Renewables Trader (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, with location in Berlin, is currently under trust management of the Federal Network Agency.

We are responsible for the management and optimization of PCK, MiRO and Bayernoil refineries as well as for the marketing and sales of mineral oil products.

Your tasks

  • Assist with business development and supplier relations management, as well as supporting the renewables strategy and projects
  • Support with term & spot negotiations with suppliers regarding the sourcing of biofuels (e.g. Ethanol, FAME, HVO), RFNBOs (Renewable Fuels of Non-Biologic Origin), GHG & Sub-quota tickets in the domestic and European markets
  • Develop & maintain a supply/demand model for the Renewables market in regards of biofuels & quotas – domestically / EU- & worldwide
  • Ensure, that biofuels, RFNBOs, GHG & Sub-quotas sourcing meet the targets of the respective GHG-reduction and (sub-)quotas obligations (BImSchG, BImSchV´s) in the domestic and European markets at optimized costs
  • Responsible for monthly & weekly supply & sales planning, stock balances & forecasts & handling daily operational tasks
  • Coordination with Sustainability team, Mainfuels & B2B sales departments, Logistics & Refining

Your profile

  • University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
  • Several years of professional experience as a trader, supply or sales manager in the energy sector, ideally in the area of biofuels / renewables 
  • Good knowledge of biofuels & GHG quota markets, its risks and volatility and good understanding of the main fuels value chain
  • Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills
  • Business fluency in English and German
