Renewables Project Manager (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, located in Berlin, is currently under trusteeship of the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).

We hold interests in three German refineries which account for 12% of total processing capacity in the Federal Republic of Germany. We are responsible for the marketing, supply and transportation of mineral oil and renewable energy products throughout Central Europe.

Your tasks

  • Monitor and assess regulatory developments affecting the company's business and identify compliant fulfilment opportunities (e.g. green hydrogen, synthetic fuels, recycled carbon fuels, co-processed biofuels)
  • Develop an economic assessment of each fulfillment type to identify the most beneficial option, also in cooperation with Refining by contribution to the LP-Models (linear program)
  • Establish a cost assessment report, including all fulfillment options
  • Plan, execute and manage tender processes, analyze results and prepare decision-making materials for management
  • Coordinate the implementation of new fulfilment options by establishing the required systems, organizational and logistical structures to source and process across refineries and depots
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders - including Regulatory, Refineries, Sourcing, Sales, IT, Finance, Accounting, Suppliers and Certification Bodies - to ensure regulatory compliance, operational implementation and accountability of respective fulfillment options
  • Represent the company at conferences, workshops and working groups of industry associations

Your profile

  • Experience in business development, trading, supply, sales or a comparable commercial role, preferably within the biofuels, renewable fuels or energy sector
  • Master's degree e.g. engineering / science / economics / business or equivalent professional experience
  • Solid Understanding of biofuels, GHG & Sub-quota markets, including market dynamics, risks and price volatility, as well as the fuels value chain
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Business Fluency in German and English
