Data Management / Software Engineering (f/m/d)

Your Role:

• Manage our Data Acquisition Platform for AI, assisting external service providers with data uploads and image annotation. Develop solutions for reporting and interactive queries, implementing interfaces for our AI Data Scientists.

• Support Embedded Software Development in implementing new features for our video processors.

• As part of our development process following IEC 62304, create software documents for product developments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize our AI data platform, enhancing REST APIs for integration into our AI training workflow. Ensure data and services are available 24/7 through automation and integration tests.

• Review image annotations by external staff and assign tasks accordingly.

• Collaborate with a global team, being willing to take on tasks in Embedded Software Development.

• Work environment operates on Linux; utilize Python, C, and C++ for programming. Comfortable with Javascript and HTML when necessary.

• Conduct thorough software testing to ensure correct functionality before providing it to external partners.

• Collaborate with program managers and engineering colleagues to strategize new features and system functions, determining Best Practices for deployment.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

• Extensive practical experience with Python and C++.

• Proficient in documenting design processes, tests, analyses, and bug fixing.

• Curiosity, creative thinking, and a sense of initiative.

• Enjoyment in software development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

• Practical experience with SQL databases, REST APIs, and Django.

• Experience in software development using C/C++.
