AI ZWEI is a fast-growing technology company that specializes in developing a cutting-edge software platform for no-code machine learning and data science. Our platform aims to empower business users with the ability to effortlessly collect, transform, and analyse data, train machine learning models, and utilize these models to make data-driven decisions and automate critical processes.

In order to expand our Sales team we are looking for a Senior Key Account & Sales Development Manager (m/f/x/d) that speaks German to join us! Someone who has the knowledge to shine on dynamic and tech environments, who will be responsible for managing key accounts in entertainment and other industries, driving upselling opportunities, negotiating contracts, and leading sales development initiatives while representing the company at various events and maintaining CRM system updates.

Your job will be

Responsibilities and Duties

Key Account Management

  • Establish and maintain a trusted/strategic advisor relationship.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to key accounts.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts and sales development initiatives.

Sales Development

  • Manage prospects with focus on entertainment industry (film, gaming, music) and secondly for other industries with stakeholders on different levels (up until senior partner/C-Level)
  • Consult with and advise new and potential clients/prospects by acting as a consulting expert on AI ZWEI’s products and services.
  • Define and negotiate deliverables, deadlines, contract terms & conditions and close deals/contracts with prospects.
  • Handle new client onboarding, setup and training and manage deliverables.
  • Understand clearly the client needs and objectives and collaborate and regularly align with other members of the different departments (Product and Engineering) to meet them and ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other outbound sales activities.
  • Preparation of proposals, contracts and in identifying further sales opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Regularly report status of prospects and accounts in the CRM-system and to the management
  • Represent AI ZWEI at different events such as webinars/ meetings/ fairs

Your Profile

Education, Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, marketing, computer science, data science or related field with technical understanding/experience
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in consulting, customer relationship/account management, sales/business development, account management in a business-to-business environment in the technology sector
  • Strong understanding of AI and data analytics technologies, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive business value propositions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with decision-makers, combined with a confident manner.
  • Customer-oriented, good understanding of clients´ needs
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to gain and maintain trust.
  • Able to travel up to 20%

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or data science is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in film, music or gaming industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques, prospecting tools and pipeline management tool including Hubspot.
