Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like electric mobility.

Duration: 6 months (37,5h/week full time)
Main responsibilities
- Supporting the Sustainability Manager to implement the sustainability strategy (scope, priorities, timelines);
- Supporting implementation of projects & sustainability performance of the company in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting awareness of Daikin Chemical Europe sustainability efforts through staff engagement channels and corporate website
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting on sustainability metrics to accurately measure progress towards goals
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to sustainability
- Contributing technical expertise in Life Cycle Assessments, Cradle to Cradle Product Certification and other emerging eco-certificates and knowledge of global sustainability standards and reporting frameworks (UN SDGs, GRI, SASB, etc.)
Your profile
- Pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Energy or similar related Master`s Programme
- Understanding in Scope 1, 2 and 3 definition, data collection scope and process aligned to the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard and Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi)
- Flexible approach to negotiating and an ability to meet deadlines as scheduled
- Energetic team player who is self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn
- Problem solving and analytical thinking
- Competency with MS Office
- Advanced English skills are required, German is a plus
