Customer Service Operator (m/f/d)

Since 1933, Daikin Industries has been involved in the research and production of fluorochemicals, and is one of the world's foremost manufacturers of fluorochemical materials today. Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like energy storage, new mobility and industrial manufacturing.

• Processing sales orders within SAP and placing purchase orders with our international supplier network
• Organizing the dispatch of customer orders and maintaining close communication with warehouses and third-party logistics providers
• Handling customer inquiries, managing returns, and processing claims
• Tracking and expediting special shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Performing essential administrative tasks such as reporting and documentation

• Qualification in freight forwarding / logistic services (Kaufmann/-frau - Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung) and / or first work experience in a related field like inside sales / customer service
• Basic familiarity with international and EU-wide logistics and customs regulations (e.g., Incoterms)
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace applications; prior experience with SAP is advantageous
• Excellent communication and writing skills (business fluency in English is required, other language skills, especially German and other European languages are advantageous)
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate with others in an international environment
