Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, we are conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like electric mobility.
In this role, you will play a key role in optimizing newly developed chemical processes, contributing directly to the impactful EU project “TriFluorium”.
Key responsibilities
- Performing hands-on experiments in the chemical laboratory to test and optimize process parameters
- Preparing chemical formulations and operating standard laboratory equipment
- Maintaining a detailed and accurate laboratory notebook, documenting all experimental procedures, observations, and results
- Analyzing experimental data and interpreting results
- Preparing clear and concise technical summaries and reports
- Adhering strictly to all laboratory safety protocols
Your profile
- Currently enrolled in a university at MSc level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience working in a chemical laboratory setting
- Strong understanding and commitment to laboratory safety procedures
- Adherence to the highest standards of scientific ethics, with a proven ability for precise and honest documentation
- Proactive, methodical and detail-oriented working style
- Familiarity or theoretical knowledge of polymers, mechanochemistry or tribology
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as TGA−DSC, microscopy, Ion Chromatography (IC), or GC−MS
