Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like electric mobility.

• Preparing analytical samples and performing analytical measurements according to laboratory policy
• Communicating analytical report results and data interpretation of meta- and raw data
• Ensuring safe and consistent operation of analytical devices and improving safety measures within the lab
• Maintaining and updating calibration status and standard operation procedures for instruments used in the department
• Performing calibration measurements for analytical devices and managing communication with external technicians whenever necessary

• Vocational Training as Chemistry Lab Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant or equivalent
• Exact and reliable working style
• Dedication to follow laboratory safety requirements precisely
• Previous experience in analytical chemistry or polymer characterization (e.g. HPLC & GC-MS or DSC/TGA) is a plus
• Advanced English language ability (spoken and written), German is a plus
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
