Accountant (m/f/d)_RS

BIOGEST® is an international manufacturer of biomethane and biogas plants with headquarters in Austria and branches in France, Italy, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and the USA. With a team of 80 highly qualified employees, we have already completed over 180 biogas plant projects that generate electricity or biomethane worldwide. Our end-to-end supply chain aims to ensure efficient plant operation.

This role requires a detail-oriented accountant with a strong focus on cash flow management, payment processing, and financial reporting to support the company's financial operations and decision-making processes.

Your Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, tracking, and optimizing cash positions.
Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports related to cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support decision-making and financial planning.
Bank Reconciliation: Post and reconcile bank account statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls related to cash management and financial reporting.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, enhance cash flow efficiency, and improve financial reporting accuracy.

Your Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in cash flow management, payment processing, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with an online payment platform and proficiency in utilizing a cash flow tool
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial operations.
Very good written and spoken English skills (German is a plus)
