Service Technician (m/f/d) - France

BIOGEST® is an international manufacturer of biomethane and biogas plants with headquarters in Austria and branches in France, Italy, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and the USA. With a team of more than +70 highly qualified employees, we have already completed over 170 biogas plant projects that generate electricity or biomethane worldwide. Our end-to-end supply chain aims to ensure efficient plant operation.
 

• Perform routine service and maintenance work on mechanical and electrical components and production equipment of biogas plants (pumps, mixers, agitators, and digestors)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, system inefficiencies, or deviations from normal operating parameters
• Collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for upgrades or improvements
• Increase customer satisfaction through good quality and punctual execution of the work and, if necessary, carrying out training courses
• Optimize service and maintenance procedures in order to achieve a continuous increase in productivity

• Completed manual/technical training as an electrician, service technician
• Experience in service; practice in renewable energy / biogas is an advantage
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of English (fluently in writing and speech)
• Team orientation and high motivation
• Hands-on technical skills and problem-solving mindset
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards
• Willingness to travel and flexibility
