To support our team at our European headquarters, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as an Application Specialist (m/f/d) for X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)

Your role

We are looking for a high-class Application Specialist to drive sales, support customers, foster innovation, educate the users, and establish Rigaku as a trusted and reliable provider of advanced scientific instruments and solutions.

Main Tasks:

  • Perform equipment demonstrations and customer sample measurements, from preparation to analysis, at the Rigaku lab or customer sites.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide customers with advice on equipment configurations solving their analytical tasks.
  • Conduct on-site application training and develop analytical methods for specific customer needs.
  • Provide application support to customers, sales and marketing
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and prepare webinars or application notes to promote Rigaku's products.

Your profile

  • PhD or MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Mineralogy, Engineering or similar.
  • Experience with WD X-ray fluorescence. 
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English.
  • Additional language is an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of complementary analytical methods would be good. 
  • Office 365.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of time is required. 
  • Work permit for Germany.
