Field Service Engineer France (m/f/d)

Location:  Paris / North France

• Travel to customer locations within Europe and occasionally beyond to install, service, and maintain Rigaku equipment and associated devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems with customer equipment.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain system software.
• Troubleshoot issues both on-site and via remote communications.
• Provide customers with phone assistance and remote online support.
• Perform customer training on the alignment and use of their systems.
• Complete and submit service reports for all service work performed.
• Maintain and update customer profiles as changes occur to customer equipment.
• Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems involved in product operation.
• Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and verbal and written instructions to install and assemble products.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.

• 3+ years' experience in the use and maintenance of x-ray crystallography systems.
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French) German and English advantageous.
• Willingness to travel, and be away from home extensively (70% + )
• No restrictions on travel within EMEAI (and USA for training)
• Full clean driving license
