Controller (m/w/d)

INTER-PAPIER Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H. in Pinneberg is a trading house acting since 1959. We are specialized in paper trading for the converting packaging industry and export and import these papers worldwide. Our business is growing dynamically with its own sales offices in North and South America.

We need enhancement and look for you as soon as possible as

Controller / Accountant (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Cost accounting and evaluation of orders
• Set up and reporting of the monthly P+L for all profit centers and the company. Follow up of the annual budget, target-performance comparison, Analyzing and reporting differences with action proposals
• Cost accounting and evaluation of orders
• Reviewing and clearing of accounts
• Follow up of the accruals
• Identification of cost reduction potential
• Improvement of the internal commercial systems and processes with MS Excel tools incl. participation in the introduction of a new ERP system
• credit control, currency hedging
• Participation in projects
• Close cooperation with the management

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training with advanced training as an accountant (m/f/d ) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the independent supervision of an Accounting or   Controlling as well as assurance of completion according to HGB
• Secure user knowledge of an accounting software; practical experience with an ERP system is an advantage
• Experience in cost accounting, operational controlling
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel (knowledge in MS Visual Basic would be an advantage)
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Very accurate and independent way of working
