Testing Engineer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our Development Team, we are looking for a Testing Engineer (m/f/d) for a permanent position.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, operating, and continuously improving data-driven quality assurance and testing processes across the product lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring robust, compliant, and scalable product quality in an industrial environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Defining, implementing, and continuously improving the overall testing and quality assurance strategy
• Establishing and maintaining quality KPIs, reporting structures, and governance models
• Driving data-driven quality improvements using statistical methods and analytical insights
• Planning, conducting, and supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing QA automation solutions
• Applying Verification & Validation (V&V) methods and Design for Testability principles throughout the product lifecycle
• Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation (e.g. 8D reports, FMEA)
• Collaborating closely with R&D, production, and external partners to ensure consistently high product quality

You are a quality-driven, analytically strong professional with a hands-on mindset and a structured, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in quality assurance, testing, or a related engineering role
• Very good knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (IATF 16949 is a strong plus)
• Expert-level skills in data analysis and statistical quality control methods
• Solid experience with QA/testing tools, test automation, Verification & Validation, and Design for Testability
• Excellent technical documentation skills (8D, FMEA, Six Sigma methodologies)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a reliable, results-oriented working style
• High level of self-initiative, independence, flexibility, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and openness to innovation and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and language skills in both German and English
