Junior Business Development Manager (f/m/d) 60-100% |6-months fixed-term contract

Your tasks

You will support the downstream side of our solar fuels business – everything that happens after production – and take on a broad range of activities at the intersection of technology, logistics, regulation, and commercial operations, including:

  • Supporting initial outreach, communication, and relationship management with potential customers and strategic partners
  • Drafting and refining commercial documents, such as responses to RFIs and RFQs, and contractual documents
  • Contributing to sustainability and compliance projects, including the certification of solar fuel plants, conformance, proof of sustainability, and value chain transparency
  • Supporting in offtake negotiations with commercial stakeholders
  • Coordinating logistics with customers, laboratory partners, logistics providers, and authorities, especially related to fuel analysis and the import and export of renewable fuels

Your skills

You are a soon-to-graduate or recent Master’s student with one of the following backgrounds:

  • Multidisciplinary (e.g., MTEC or similar), combining engineering and business
  • Technical (e.g., Engineering or Natural Sciences) with strong commercial acumen
  • Commercial (e.g., Business or Economics) with strong technical curiosity

In addition:

  • You are passionate about supporting our Business Develop Manager in commercializing our technology
  • You are eager to take on responsibility, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a strong interest in connecting technology and business
  • You are structured, self-driven, and resilient to navigate demanding phases
  • You have a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, and want to create a meaningful impact
  • You are fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
