We are looking for a

                                                         Senior Manager Merchandise Strategy (m/w/d)

to join our team in Berlin to shape the long-term product direction across multiple lifestyle brands. In this role, you will define where we play, how our assortments evolve, and which products drive future growth.

Your mission:

  • Own the long-term merchandise strategy across brands and categories, defining the strategic direction of our product portfolio
  • Build a clear assortment architecture: Category roles, product hierarchy, seasonality, and portfolio balance
  • Translate commercial targets into an actionable product plan: define assortment size, category mix, hero products and growth drivers.
  • Identify strategic opportunities from performance data, market movements and customer insights
  • Steer the product roadmap by recommending new categories, material innovations and product updates
  • Define pricing strategy and value tiers together with Finance, ensuring competitiveness, margins and brand fit
  • Translate strategy into strong design briefs with Brand, ensuring consumer and commercial alignment
  • Coordinate with Buying & Supply Chain to secure availability, smooth transitions, and seasonal readiness
  • Align with Brand and eCommerce on hero products, storytelling priorities and launch sequencing
  • Lead merchandise performance reviews and turn insights into actionable improvements for future seasons

Your profile:

  • minimum 4 years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management, or Assortment Strategy within accessories, fashion or lifestyle
  • Demonstrated experience shaping multi-categories, seasonal assortment strategies
  • Solid expertise in pricing strategy, value tiers, and product lifecycle management
  • Strong ability to think in product systems, customer needs, and long-term brand and portfolio development
  • Confident in analyzing key KPIs (STR, GM-ROI, ASP, WOS) and turning insights into actionable decisions
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence Product, Brand, Buying and eCommerce
  • Strong aesthetic judgement and product intuition, not only data-driven
  • Strategic, structured thinker with hands-on execution ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
