Sales Engineer (m/f/d) 
full-time, permanent employment 
This position owner will work closely with the Key Account Managers, Sales and Technical Teams from the region of operation. 

What you will do in this position:

  • You are the technical link between customers and sales. 
  • You establish a personal relationship with potential new and existing customers and other contacts through a continuous and professional appearance. 
  • You gain customer acceptance and convince with demonstrations of cost reductions and operational improvements. 
  • You answer customer questions and provide technical information on products, services, or equipment. 
  • You are a key support to the key account managers when talking to customers.
  • Your primary focus is responding to and processing requests for proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP). 
  • You will prepare 2d Layouts and 3D “lite” in PV Case. 
  • You will identify improvements by analyzing the cost-benefit of equipment, consumables, or service applications in the customer environment and developing and proposing changes to equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. 
  • Creating technical reports for sales is also part of your daily tasks. 

You will be successful in this position if:

  • You have a mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering education.
  • Pull Out Test campaign experience and/or experience working with foundation design parameters would be advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in CAD/.dwg as PV Case software. 
  • You love to give your best for customers and always act target and customer oriented. 
  • You have experience in the photovoltaic industry and maybe with single axis trackers. 
  • You are able to implement your good technical knowledge and your analytical thinking for the customer in an understandable and attractive way. 
  • You love to work independently and in an organized way. 
  • You are a team player who lives an open and appreciative communication internally and externally. 
  • You are thirsty for knowledge?and like to keep yourself informed about the latest developments and industry trends.
  • Own strong coordination skills as well as very good time-management 
  • Are an outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal, intercultural skills and “can do” attitude. 
  • Periodic international travel will be necessary.
