Your Challenge

A ficonTEC Field Sales Manager joins the Sales, Service and Marketing team at the Headquarter campus in Achim. As a Field Sales Manager, you will support the company’s business expansion, the Sales, Marketing and Service for PIC assembly and testing IIoT machines, including VCSELs, both at the device and wafer level. You are required to quote highly automated, high precision, complex assembly, and testing systems. 
  • You develop key account sales strategies to increase market share & improve brand awareness       
  • You identify opportunities in new markets & develop strategies to increase revenue in the markets
  • You negotiate & close complex projects in a systematic, pragmatic & logical manner
  • You manage sales opportunities & other sales metrics using CRM tool
  • You provide market feedback in support of new product development
  • You attend major tradeshows & manage generated leads

Your Profile

  • You have a BSc/MSc/Technician in Physics, Engineering or in a similar relevant field
  • Your plus is a solid sales background, preferable in photonics & automation with focus on Account Management
  • You are willing to travel up to 50% of the working time
  • You are proficient with MS Suite & Sales Force
  • For you, customer success is a team sport, consisting of cooperation & partnership
  • You have 3+ years’ experience working in a Field Sales role
  • You have robust interpersonal and teamwork attitude
  • Your communication & presentation skills are outstanding
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English – German and any other languages are a plus
  • Your mindset is customer oriented with strong negotiation skills
