Job Objectives

For our Engineering Plastics Division in our new European Headquarter in Düsseldorf we are looking for a:

Supply Chain Administrator (m/f/d)

Your main tasks will be to plan and forecast material to ensure supply of customer demands from non-European vendors and European subcontractors. You will take care about logistical and administrative processing of purchase orders including import control.

Your Tasks

  • Material disposition and operational purchasing
  • Subcontracting operation
  • Stock reconciliation and administration of annual stock-take
  • Maintenance of material master data in SAP
  • Maintenance Certificates of Analysis
  • Maintaining transfer price within Asahi group companies
  • 1st level claim handling for warehouse & inbound
  • Verification of invoices regarding warehousing, inbound and subcontracting
  • Participation in projects
  • Support of monthly and annual closing activities
  • General communication with vendors
  • Cooperation with sales, accounting and logistics service provider
  • Review and improvement of procedures / workflows and related manuals
  • Training to back-up staff, assurance of cutting-edge knowledge
  • Replacement of other team members according to back-up plan

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of logistic / purchasing related job experience.
  • Professional apprenticeship in a relevant area
  • Advanced knowledge of goods import to / export from EU countries
  • Solid skills in SAP R/3 modules MM and SD
  • Good knowledge of MS office, mainly Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – internal and external
  • Business level English and German skills, further languages are beneficial
  • Independent and diligent way of working
  • Commercial way of thinking
  • Teamwork capability and ability to work under pressure
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
