Main tasks and responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process (B2B only) from first contact and intro calls, lead qualification, client requirement analysis, prospecting, product demonstration, pitching, proposal creation, contract negotiation through closing deals/contracts
- Business development related to Symanto´s products and projects
- Act as a solutions expert consultant to C-Level and Senior Executive level clients, and help them in their needs, goals and initiatives by applying Symanto´s solutions
- Communicate the benefits of Symanto´s products and services to potential and current clients
- Maintain current sales status in the CRM system
- Participate in sales planning and developing the sales and marketing strategy
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and teams (product, marketing, account & project management, R&D)
- Represent Symanto at webinars/meetings/fairs/events
- Establish and maintain industry and partner contact
Your profile
Education, Required Skills and Experience
- Vocational training or degree in sales, marketing, business, data science or related field
- 5+ years of sales experience, sales/business development in a business-to-business environment, preferably in the market research, technology sector or consulting business
- Fluency in English and German
- Analytical skill sets and strong business acumen
- Strong understanding of AI and data analytics technologies, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive business value propositions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with decision-makers, combined with a confident manner.
- Ability to build consultative effectiveness and establish trust
- Self-motivated, independent
- Excellent communication?skills
- Flexible and capable of delivering value in a start-up like environment
- Willingness to travel
- Very good skills in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Very good knowledge of the market research industry, consulting companies´ structure and operation, big brands and key players of the markets/industries
- Understanding of and interest in AI and business psychology
- Knowledge of Spanish language is a plus
- Familiarity with different sales techniques, prospecting tools and pipeline management tool including Hubspot.
- Experience in selling to consultancy firms
- Knowledge about Private Equity business
