Senior Financial Business Partner / Controller (f/m/d) Berlin

Charging needs to be simple and easy to use, therefore we focus on digitized and customer-oriented services.  We develop white label public charging solutions for automotive OEMs and fleet operators. These services provide access to multiple networks of Charging Point Operations (CPO) and enable drivers of electric vehicles to find, use and pay for public charging in an easy and seamless way. 

Since the beginning of 2019, Digital Charging Solutions GmbH has been part of the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Daimler AG. CHARGE NOW is a service of DCS and part of this joint venture, which aims to strengthen sustainable mobility worldwide together with the other verticals FREE NOW, and SHARE NOW.

In this role ,you are involved in all aspects of financial management, including budget and forecast preparation, internal regulation and business steering financial reporting and accounting. 

• Be the sparring partner to multiple stakeholders across various functions (especially Sales/Key Account Management , Product, IT) and hierarchies with focus on our fleet segment by collaborating and consulting with your finance-expertise
• Further develop our GP1 business case model to better address business needs and to create scalability
• Drive financial assessment of strategic initiatives and operational projects
• Ensure business excellence across the entire controlling process (e.g. monthly reporting, forecast, business cases, budget, KPIs and analysis)
• Perform financial analysis and interpret variances by providing insightful information to decision-makers
• Set standards by the development and implementation of guidelines and improvements of processes, procedures and practices

• You have 1-3 years of experience in Finance & Controlling, ideally in a growing international business environment
• Degree in Economics or Business Administration or any related fields, ideally with focus on Controlling /Finance/Accounting
• Strong analytical & strategic mindset with advanced problem-solving skills and holistic thinking
• Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with a hands-on mentality
• Strong operational business understanding, including the potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, team player, trustworthy, flexible, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial, highly committed
• Excellent MS Office user (Excel and PowerPoint), SAP and BI are desirable
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, communication, and visualization skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy
• Passion for growth, to drive success in a changing business environment
• Fluent in spoken and written English, German would be a plus
