R&D Technician Analytical Sciences (m/f/d)

Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like electric mobility.

• Preparing analytical samples and performing analytical measurements as well as creating analytical reports
• Ensuring safe and consistent operation of analytical devices and improving safety measures in the laboratory
• Participating in regular training sessions for analytical department members to discuss new methods or personal development opportunities
• Maintaining and updating calibration status for all instruments used by analytical department members according to DIN:ISO9001 standards
• Continuously improving the documentation and calibration standard procedures
• Conducting meetings with Daikin customers to discuss results of analytical measurements and guide solutions to customer requests
• Participating in trade-shows and other business activities to promote Daikin’s technologies

• Vocational Training as a Chemical Technician (Ausbildung im Bereich Chemie) / B. Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent
• Experience in analytical methods related to polymers (e. g. mechanical properties, DSC/TGA)
• Experience in scanning electron microscopy is a plus
• Advanced English language ability (spoken and written), German is a plus
• Exact and organized working style
• Ability to work independently and reliably on multiple projects at the same time
