Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like energy storage, new mobility and industrial manufacturing.

We are looking to fill this position from July 2025.

• Driving Profitable Growth: Architect and implement a technology platform that delivers compelling value propositions, unlocking profitable growth opportunities across the Semicon, Automotive, Consumer, and Electronics sectors
• Being a Technical Visionary: Deeply understand market needs and emerging technologies (e.g., lithographic equipment) to identify critical material requirements and translate these insights into impactful strategies for Sales and Marketing
• Leading Technical Excellence: Manage technical specifications, ensure seamless business implementations, and provide expert technical service and support to our customers, including hands-on laboratory operations
• Championing Innovation & Market Expansion: Proactively explore new market segments, analyze competitive landscapes, and collaborate with R&D to drive the development of innovative products that enhance marketability and profitability
• Ensuring Safety & Compliance: Cultivate a strong safety culture within the team and navigate complex regulatory landscapes at national and EU levels, providing crucial support to sales and customers
• Being a Collaborative Partner: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Technical Service teams, including regular customer visits, to achieve application development targets and address customer challenges effectively
• Representing Our Technological Edge: Present technical expertise at industry events, showcasing our advancements and strengthening our market position

• University degree (MSc, Diploma) in chemistry, chemical engineering etc. or equivalent qualification
• 5+ years of impactful industrial or academic experience within the resin/compounding sector
• Prior experience in the semiconductor or hydrogen industry is a plus
• Comprehensive understanding of the quality standards and regulatory requirements within the Semicon, Automotive, Electronics, and Chemicals industries
• Strong business acumen and customer-centric approach with a proven ability to build and nurture long-lasting, impactful relationships
• Professional demeanor is characterized by calmness, dependability, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English and preferably good German language abilities in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel (up to 50% nationally and internationally) to engage with customers and partners
