Main responsibilites
- Coordinating activities in global chemical regulations in collaboration with global colleagues, ensuring compliance
- Preparing and maintaining regulatory statements
- Collecting, preparing and reviewing materials needed for registration and submissions to regulatory agencies
- Staying up-to-date with laws and regulations for risk management in collaboration with our Public Affairs team and Japan headquarters
- Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in compliance with EU and global regulations
- Managing dangerous goods related activities in the innovation center
- Strategically achieving and maintaining a balance between regulatory concerns, marketing objectives, time to market, technology, and compliance
Your profile
- University degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, (eco)toxicology or equivalent)
- Ideally several years of experience working in regulatory affairs in the chemical industry
- Excellent communication and writing skills (Fluency in German and English are required, other language skills, especially Turkish and other European languages are advantageous)
- Ideally some experience in international regulations such as EU REACH/CLP, KKDIK,, TSCA, etc,. as well as US FDA regulations, EU FCM regulations and/or other global regulations for food contact compliance (BfR, etc.), Knowledge in REACH-IT and IUCLID are a plus
- Self-motivated and proactive working style
- Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally) up to 10%
