BIOGEST® is an international manufacturer of biomethane and biogas plants with headquarters in Austria and branches in France, Italy, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and the USA. With a team of 80 highly qualified employees, we have already completed over 180 biogas plant projects that generate electricity or biomethane worldwide. Our end-to-end supply chain aims to ensure efficient plant operation.
This role requires a detail-oriented accountant with a strong focus on cash flow management, payment processing, and financial reporting to support the company's financial operations and decision-making processes.
Your Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, tracking, and optimizing cash positions.
- Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports related to cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support decision-making and financial planning.
- Bank Reconciliation: Post and reconcile bank account statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls related to cash management and financial reporting.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, enhance cash flow efficiency, and improve financial reporting accuracy.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in cash flow management, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with an online payment platform and proficiency in utilizing a cash flow tool
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial operations.
- Very good written and spoken English skills (German is a plus)
