Site Manager (m/f/d) - UK

Biogest is an international biogas plant manufacturer with headquarters in Austria and branches in Great Britain, Italy, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, France and the USA. With approx. 74 employees we have already realized more than 160 biogas plant projects for the supply of electricity or bio methane. Our reference plants are located in many countries of Europe and India. In addition to its plant manufacturing unit, Biogest’s OPO (Own Plant Operations) business unit constructs and operates biogas plants in which it has a majority stake holding.

We are looking for a Site Manager for United Kingdom:

• Coordination and supervision of sub-contractors and coordination with additional suppliers
• Responsibility for monitoring the works and the project schedule during the project realisation
• Responsibility for H&S of our sub-contractors, compliance with quality procedures, work instructions and processes
• Cost control, responsibility for risk management
• Ensure that all documentation required for the project is delivered and appropriately used
• Quality assurance for all plant components, including qualification of sub-contractors
• Actively participate in project teams from the construction phase to the project completion
• Undertaking of on-site appointments with clients, engineers, sub-contractors, etc.

• Degree qualified in a relevant technical discipline, ideally  civil or mechanical  engineer
• Knowledgeable on international standards and 'best practice' in relation to Site works and H&S
• Able to communicate effectively and develop friendly professional relationships with customers, suppliers and internal staff
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• Willingness to travel, ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of English (fluently in writing and speech)
• MS Office proficiency
• Driving license B
