Health and Safety Manager (m/f/d) Serbia

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to join our growing team. Based in Serbia, this role requires frequent international travel to various project sites and offices across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs for all Biogest construction projects.

Starting date 01/04/2025

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures compliant with relevant European and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Provide health and safety training and education to employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing comprehensive reports and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage health and safety documentation and reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure safe working practices.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
• Manage the company’s health and safety risk assessments and reporting processes.
• Travel frequently throughout Europe to visit project sites and offices.

• Experience in health and safety management within the construction industry.
• A recognized health and safety qualification (an advantage).
• Passed health and safety license exam in Serbia (an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of European health and safety regulations (e.g., ISO 45001).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel.
