YOUR ROLE
The Senior Service Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the service strategy and team to ensure optimal plant performance, customer satisfaction, and budget alignment. This role involves managing service operations, overseeing contracts, optimizing maintenance strategies, and ensuring financial and operational efficiency. The service center is based in Breclav (CZ), and the role requires frequent travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement a service strategy and team that aligns with company budget expectations and operational goals.
- Establish processes and structures to improve service efficiency and plant reliability.
- Continuously enhance service offerings to maximize plant uptime and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities within the service sector and drive growth.
Service Management & Operations:
- Oversee maintenance and service operations for biomethane and biogas plants.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize plant availability.
- Ensure compliance with service contracts and high customer service standards.
Technical & Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze plant performance data to drive efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues.
- Identify and implement preventive solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Customer & Supplier Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service-related inquiries and improvements.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely spare parts and external support.
- Manage escalations and critical issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Financial & Budget Management:
- Ensure service operations are aligned with company financial targets and budgets.
- Optimize service costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide regular financial and operational reports to management.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- A degree in Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in service or operations management, preferably in the biogas, energy, or industrial sector.
- Experience in building and managing service teams and strategies within budget constraints.
- Strong technical knowledge of biomethane and biogas plants is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel frequently to various plant locations.
