Director Sales (m/w/d)

We are seeking for an experienced and motivated Sales Director!

As a Sales Direcor at Microvast EMEA you define and execute a robust commercial strategy that ensures sustainable business growth, aligns with company objectives, and strengthens the organization’s competitive position in the EMEA region. You drive consistent sales growth and expand market share by identifying and securing new business opportunities, entering new markets, and deepening relationships with key accounts.

Your tasks:

  • Lead and manage the Sales and Business Development Team, driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring alignment with the overall commercial strategy
  • Evaluate and develop new market and customer opportunities, with a strong focus on building a targeted sales funnel and identifying must-win campaigns
  • Develop and maintain detailed sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, and annual), while tracking and analyzing customer activity to enhance confidence and planning accuracy
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, congresses, and industry events, including delivering presentations and speeches to promote visibility and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct in-depth market studies, identify emerging customer needs, and support future product development
  • Lead the negotiation of complex commercial contracts, ensuring internal alignment across relevant departments and successful implementation of commitments

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) 
  • Profound experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles within a technically driven environment (e.g., battery, commercial vehicle, high-tech, or industrial sectors)
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, leading sales teams, and negotiating complex contracts on an international scale
  • Deep understanding of commercial strategy development, including market analysis, sales planning, and execution
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with C-level executives and across departments to ensure strategic alignment
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~30–50% depending on project and campaign demands)
  • Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages are an advantage
