3D VISION & METROLOGY APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/F/D)

• Qualify technically new business opportunities in-house, on-site or online with technical feasibility studies on customer samples and recommend the right SmartRay 3D sensor product
• Support customers with advanced technical feasibility studies by developing GUI or console-based application software and provide the best ‘3D solution consultation’ to customers
• As a highly software talented candidate you develop software code for custom applications based on third party vision-metrology software tools
• You enjoy being connected with people and build up relationship and trust with the customer to ensure high-level of customer satisfaction

• University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications
• Experience in an Application Engineer role in machine vision and/or metrology industry
• Minimum 3 years’ software programming experience of C#, C++ and developing applications based on vision and/or metrology software
• Experience of 3D machine vision, ideally experience with 3D laser triangulation (desirable)
• Positive, proactive approach with can-do attitude
• Fluent business level English and German
• National and international willingness to travel
