FPGA-DEVELOPER (M/F/D)

Aerospace Data Security GmbH (ASDS) is an innovative technology company of the Airbus Group. For more than 25 years, we have been developing highly secure communication and cryptography solutions for customers in aerospace, defence, and other security-critical sectors.

• Developing and implementing FPGA designs using VHDL for aerospace applications
• Creating and maintaining digital circuits and hardware descriptions (HDL)
• Designing, simulating, and verifying FPGA modules
• Developing and executing testbenches and validation tests
• Analyzing system requirements and translating them into FPGA architectures
• Optimizing FPGA designs in terms of timing, resource utilization, and performance
• Collaborating with systems engineers, software developers, and test teams
• Creating technical documentation for design, testing, and approval processes
• Supporting integration and verification activities at hardware level
• Ensuring compliance with safety-critical aerospace standards and regulations, such as DO-254, RTCA, and ESA standards

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
• Experience in FPGA design and VHDL programming
• Ideally, experience in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of simulation, verification, and testing of FPGA designs
• Experience in the development of digital systems and hardware architectures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Good English language skills
