Minijob (m/w/d) for core unit support

German BioImaging (GerBI) is the national network for biological imaging in Germany. We connect research institutions, students, core facilities, industry and scientists, support knowledge and technology exchange, and organize scientific events and training activities.

We are looking for a

Minijobber (m/f/d)

to support our activities, based at one of our board members’ institutions. The position is available in Heidelberg, Düsseldorf, Mainz, or Dresden.

The position offers insight into the organization of a national scientific network.

Your Tasks
  • Support with administrative routine tasks

  • Maintenance of the member database

  • Support in communication with members

  • Assistance with updating and maintaining the GerBI website (WordPress)

  • Support in organizing meetings and events

  • Involvement in planning and running events, e.g. TiM2027

  • Supporting TiM2027 and its preparation phase in Münsingen on-site (3.3.-15.3.2027)


Your Profile
  • Potentially a student, but open to other suitable candidates

  • Careful, reliable and well-structured working style

  • Good communication skills (very good German and/or English skills (both desirable))

  • Confident with common office software

  • Interest in science management, communication or event organization

  • Basic experience with WordPress or website maintenance is an advantage but not required
