Senior Manager Performance Marketing (m/f/d)

Role Overview: 

You’ll be joining the team in role that is at the core of our business, attracting new customers and retaining our loyal shoppers. We’re looking for someone to embody our brand and use their skillset to translate it towards meeting our business objectives. Our senior performance marketing manager must have strong analytical skills with a knack for creativity. The focus of this role is to build, manage, and scale all paid media channels including but not limited to Meta, Google, Tiktok, Bing, and Criteo ad campaigns that meet or exceed designated campaign Key Performance Indicators for our customers. You’ll also be managing the infrastructure that powers those ads (audiences, custom conversions, ad creatives, etc.). You should be eager to get your hands dirty in everything from analyzing data to building out campaigns to updating audiences and more. You should also be creative with a love for making high-converting ad creatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and optimizing paid efforts across major networks including but not limited to: Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest while hitting KPI targets.  
  • Ad campaign construction and maintenance 
  • Able to take verbal and written direction from managers and translate into a properly set up campaign meeting specifications. 
  • Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of (ever-changing) Facebook/Google tools for building campaigns, audiences, conversion tracking, and other tools used in delivering results for customers. 
  • Able to write high-converting ad copy 
  • Able to create complete ads from creative to copy 
  • Rapid creation and testing of new ad creatives each week (we have a design team but you will need to provide creative concepts) 
  • Analyze channel KPIs (e.g. CPA, CTR, CPMs, ROAS, LTV) and provide regular reporting and forecasting to team leadership.  
  • Working closely with our creative agencies for feedback on what is working and areas of improvement for iterations and new concepts through creative performance analysis and reporting.  
  • Create playbooks for marketing and strategy team to ensure the team understands paid media function and thoughtfully scale media capabilities. 
  • Detailed understanding of data connections from all webshop connections including ERP, webshop, feeds, and marketing tools 
  • Ability to work cross functionally to build new intercompany processes with the goal of increasing efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations 
  • Entrepreneurial attitidue towards problem solving by seeking to develop MVP answers to complex problems in order to rapidly test and learn 
  • Expert level in analytics with the ability to combine multiple data sources, manipulate data, and form a data driven hypothesis and solution 
  • Ability to develop, evaluate, and formulate a project plan for new revenue channels with controlling KPIs  
  • Owner of all performance marketing projects with the ability to delegate, prioritize, and adjust based on most pressing business needs 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in media planning, customer acquisition, planning and reporting on Paid-Social media campaigns managing 6 figure monthly spend in a high-growth, DTC environment.  
  • Experience with creative strategy to identify, iterate, and generate ad concepts in collaboration with our creative teams.  
  • Proficient in building comprehensive and actionable ad reports  
  • Embodies a test, optimize, analyze, and apply learnings within and across campaigns, and uses metrics to determine actions and measures progress towards goals  
  • Has an obsessive attention to detail and thrives in fast-paced, high pressure environments 
  • Strong optimization mindset about the costs and the revenue (every dollar counts) 
  • A holistic perspective on digital marketing with a strong understanding of how different marketing channels interact and affect one another 
  • Experience developing funnels using audience segmentation, A/B creative testing, retargeting methods, and KPI tracking 
  • Expert level with google analytics, attribution tracking, and measurement systems 
  • Strong background in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) 
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws across all major regions (US & EU)
