We are looking for a
CRM & Email Marketing Manager (m/f/d)
to join our online marketing team in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer retention, engagement, and revenue growth through strategic email marketing, sales campaigns, and automated customer journeys. You will oversee CRM processes, ensuring seamless data flow across marketing tools while using cohort analysis and segmentation to maximize performance.
If you have a strong analytical mindset, experience in Klaviyo, and the ability to craft compelling newsletter, this is the perfect opportunity to own and shape our CRM strategy. Experience in loyalty program setup and multi-tool data integration is a plus.
Your mission
- CRM & Email Strategy: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel CRM campaigns, with a primary focus on email marketing via Klaviyo.
- Audience Segmentation & Cohort Analysis: Create highly targeted customer segments based on purchase behavior, engagement levels, and lifecycle stages. Use cohort analysis to refine targeting strategies.
- Sales Campaigns & Promotional Emails: Plan and execute product launches, seasonal promotions, and limited-time offers through email marketing.
- Automated Journeys: Develop and optimize behavior-based automation flows (e.g., welcome series, post-purchase sequences, reactivation campaigns, and upsell/cross-sell).
- Data & Performance Analytics: Track and analyze CRM performance using GA4, Looker Studio, and Klaviyo reporting. Use insights to continuously optimize campaigns.
- List Management & Multi-Tool Integration: Ensure segmented lists are effectively shared across marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads) to drive re-engagement and cross-channel success.
- Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email content, and creative elements to increase open rates, CTRs, and conversions.
- Loyalty & Retention (Bonus): Support the setup and management of a loyalty program to drive long-term customer engagement.
- Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with online marketing, eCommerce, and content teams to ensure CRM insights enhance company-wide marketing efforts.
Your profile:
- 3–5 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, campaign management, and automation, ideally in a direct-to-consumer or Shopify-based eCommerce environment
- Expertise in Klaviyo, including automation, personalization, and audience segmentation, with a strong understanding of Shopify customer data
- Experience in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools for tracking customer behavior and CRM performance
- Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in cohort analysis, multi-channel data integration, and sales campaign optimization
- Hands-on experience with customer data management and sharing audience lists across marketing platforms (Meta, Google, direct mail, etc.)
- Proactive mindset, strong project management skills, and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and conversion-driven email copy aligned with brand tone
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
