In order ti support our Quality Manager and to get closer to our goal, we are looking for a:
Food safety specialist / QA Specialist / Qualitätsmanagement-Beauftragter (f/m/d)
Part-/ Fulltime, 32/40 hours
Tasks:
- processing internal non-conformities and customer complaints
- processing of customer questionnaires
- reviewing supplier specifications
- creating and updating SOPs
- collaboration with other departments to ensure compliance with quality standards
- carrying out root cause analyses, initiating corrective measures and checking their effectiveness
- developing and implementing process optimizations
- preparation of trend analyses and risk assessments
- preparing and conducting internal quality training courses
- conducting internal audits and plant inspections as well as supporting and preparing of customer and certification audits.
- development and maintenance of an internal QM reporting system with reliable key indicators
- co-development and implementation of the HACCP concept
- perspective of becoming deputy head of QM department in the future
Required qualifications:
- BSc or MSC in food science, food engineering or related field (food technology, biotechnology, pharma technology)
- at least 3+ years experience in the food industry in quality related positions
- experience with root cause analysis tools (5 why, fish bone, ….)
- solid understanding of GMP guidelines and other relevant regulations in the food industry
- HACCP knowledge and experience in conducting risk assessments
- experience with ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 or other certifications in a food manufacturing company
- basic knowledge of European and national law for food and food packaging would be of advantage
- experience in conducting audits / Qualification as an internal auditor in the food industry would be of advantage
- ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- high sense of responsibility
- team spirit, reliability, and solid work ethic
- good communication skills in English (B2) and preferably also in German (B1+)
- general PC skills (MS Windows, Office)
