Head of Renewables Trading (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, with location in Berlin, is currently under trust management of the Federal Network Agency.

We are responsible for the management and optimization of PCK, MiRO and Bayernoil refineries as well as for the marketing and sales of mineral oil products.

• Leading & developing Rosneft Deutschland GmbH (RDG) Renewables trading team and representing the business unit within the S&M Leadership
• Demonstrating extensive and proven knowledge in the supply and trading of bio feedstocks, expanding of supplier portfolios and feedstocks sourcing for refinery systems
• Responsible for the biofuels & GHG quota sourcing strategy, planning and coordination of short & mid-term fulfilment options
• Analysis of biofuels and ticket markets and maintaining a solid understanding of the regulatory environment
• Representing RDG’s renewables business commercially in the market, leading negotiations with 3rd parties regarding the supply of biofuels and GHG quota
• Responsible for business development, customer & supplier relationship management and supporting renewables strategy
• Accountable for supply chain optimization, i.e. allocation of different biofuel types and/or fulfilment options according to upcoming legislative requirements i.e. RED III and in close cooperation with other departments within RDG
• Solid understanding of fossil hydrocarbon market and interdependencies with biofuels
• Responsible for bio compliance pricing strategy as part of wholesales product cost
• Accountable for the optimal positioning of Renewable trading desk across the European supply region, driving RDG’s competitive position through the energy transition

• University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
• Extensive professional experience as a trader, supply or sales manager in the energy sector, ideally in the area of biofuels / renewables 
• Strong knowledge of biofuels & GHG quota markets, its risks and volatility and good understanding of the main fuels value chain
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Business fluency in English and German
