System Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Conception and development of algorithms in the area of digital imaging
  • Establish specifications and implementing of abstract schemes in C++ and Matlab
  • Business Intelligence – generate new trends in technology and analyse the market
  • Application of computer vision systems in the field of endoscopy
  • Carve out “Unmet Clinical Needs” in cooperation with medical professions and other institutions in the medical sector
  • Conception of medical endoscopic systems and validation of those systems
  • Maintenance and enhancement of exiting schematics
  • Measurements and evaluation of camera systems
  • Producing documentation and presentations
  • Active configuration and optimization of image developments

Your Profile

  • Degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering or similar studies, ideally with a PhD
  • Experience in a regulated environment, where knowledge of medical technology and endoscopy are ideal
  • Respective professional experience and expertise in the field of digital imaging, stereoscopy (3D) and developing algorithms for computer systems are preferred
  • Programming languages:
    • Expert Knowledge in C/C++ is required
    • Phyton, Matlab are ideal
  • Knowledge of Linux is required
  • Knowledge in programming of graphic processors and FPGA`s preferred
  • Experiences in the area of program management is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new tasks and find unconventional, innovative solutions
  • Expert English and German language skills in scientific presentations and writing
