
Logistics and Customer Service Administrator (m/f/d)
Job Objectives
For our Division Engineering Plastics in our new European Headquarter in Düsseldorf we are looking for a:
Logistics and Customer Service Administrator (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for order processing to ensure timely fulfilment of regular customer demands and act as internal counterpart to regular customer needs.
Your Tasks
- Order processing for direct delivery from Asahi group companies as well as from European warehouse stock to customers in Europe, The Levant and Northern Africa
- Alignment of customer forecast with internal budget figures and actual orders from European stock
- Collection of customer forecast figures for direct delivery
- Sample delivery from stock and directly from Asahi Group companies
- Coordination of special transport and airfreight
- Filing and updating customer price list
- Issue Long-term Supplier Declaration (verification by specialist)
- 1st level claim handling for direct shipments & distribution
- Participation in projects
- Support of monthly and annual closing activities and annual stock-take
- General communication with customers
- Cooperation with sales, accounting and logistics service provider
- Review and improvement of procedures / workflows and related manuals
- Training to back-up staff, assurance of cutting-edge knowledge
- Replacement of other team members according to back-up plan
Your Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of logistic / customer service related job experience.
- Professional Apprenticeship in a relevant area
- Knowledge of import/export goods from/to outside EU countries including Incoterms is preferable
- Solid skills in SAP modules SD and MM
- Good knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – internal and external
- Business level English and German skills, further languages are beneficial
- Independent and diligent way of working
- Commercial way of thinking
- Teamwork capability and ability to work under pressure
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
