Account Manager (m/f/d)

For supporting our Account & Project Management team we are currently looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d)

Your job will be

  • Manage prospects with focus on consulting firms/businesses and secondly for other industries with stakeholders on different levels (up until senior partner/C-Level)
  • Consult with and advise new and potential clients/prospects by acting as a consulting expert on Symanto´s products and services
  • Define and negotiate deliverables, deadlines, contract terms & conditions and close deals/contracts with prospects
  • Establish and maintain a trusted/strategic advisor relationship
  • Handle new client onboarding, setup and training and manage deliverables
  • Collaborate and regularly align with other members of the Sales Team in the preparation of proposals, contracts and in identifying further sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Customer Success, Project and Product Management Teams
  • Participate in defining the Sales Strategy and Planning
  • Regularly report status of prospects and accounts in the CRM-system and to the management
  • Represent Symanto at different events such as webinars/ meetings/ fairs

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, marketing, market research or related field with technical understanding/experience
  • Fluency in English is a must, German and/or Spanish a plus
  • Minimum 4 years experience in consulting, customer relationship/account management, sales/business development, account management in a business-to-business environment
  • Experience in and good understanding of consulting businesses (M&A, business/strategic consulting, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with a confident manner
  • Customer-oriented, good understanding of clients´ needs
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and also in team
  • Able to travel up to 20%


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with SaaS-platforms
  • Experience using HubSpot
