Our newly opened Innovation Center in Dortmund is dedicated to R&D, technical service, and marketing. Here, Daikin Chemical Europe is conducting research on new and sustainable technologies like electric mobility.
Main responsibilites
- Coordinating activities in global chemical regulations in collaboration with global colleagues, esuring compliance
- Preparing and managing food contact declaration
- Collecting, preparing and reviewing materials needed for registration and submissions to regulatory agencies
- Staying up-to-date with laws and regulations for risk management in collaboration with our Public Affairs team and Japan headquarters
- Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in compliance with EU and global regulations
- Strategically achieving and maintaining a balance between regulatory concerns, marketing objectives, time to market, technology, and compliance
Your profile
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in a scientific discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, (eco)toxicology or equivalent)
- Several years of experience working in regulatory affairs in the chemical industry
- Good command of IT systems (MS Office, data management)
- Excellent communication and writing skills (English is a must, other language skills, especially German and Japanese, are advantageous)
- Ideally some experience in European and global regulatory compliances such as EU REACH and CLP, KKDIK,/ Turkey, TSCA, etc,. as well as US FDA regulations, EU FCM regulations and/or other global regulations for food contact compliance (BfR, laboratory), Knowledge in REACH-IT and IUCLID is a plus
- Self-motivated and proactive working style
- Willlingness to travel (nationally and internationally) up to 10%
