ABOUT THE ROLE

An Account Director plays a critical role in the Account Management team, providing key clients with expert knowledge of the affiliate channel and tailored, strategic growth plans, aligned to program KPIs. Account Directors are also expected to lead their own small teams, providing coaching to their team members and nurturing their development so they are able to provide top level service to clients and grow those programs to amazing levels. Additionally, an Account Director must be confident representing Webgains at wider industry events, including taking advantage of speaking opportunities.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Deliver excellent service and relationship management to clients, providing strategic support and escalation as well as advocating for clients & publishers, carrying overall responsibility for commercial success, and maintaining a solution driven mindset

·        Manage junior team members, and oversee their portfolio of clients

·        Develop, maintain and extend relationships across Webgains portfolio via QBRs, networking and event attendance

·        Develop strategic sales/client plans to achieve monthly targets within a given portfolio of clients and implements strategies for new markets/campaigns/product offerings

·        Act as a representative of the Account Management team for sales and product teams’ requests and where strategic expertise is required

·        Proactively supports Sales team during sales pitches, developing and presenting relevant case studies prospective clients’ senior management teams

·        Negotiating bespoke opportunities on behalf of Webgains advertiser portfolio at a market level

·        Conducting off-platform recruitment in line with Webgains specifications, reviewing commercial propositions to support the Publisher Team and advocating for required technical adjustments

·        Responsible for developing and hosting training aimed at educating & setting high standards for Account Management team

·        Responsibility for the team members’ wellbeing, learning, development and performance

·        Carry overall responsibility for P&L and commercial success of a given portfolio and team of account managers

·        Identify new client targets and client distribution for given portfolio

·        Develop and oversee growth strategy for an account management team and a portfolio of clients

·        Set a compelling vision for winning and how this can be achieved

·        Drive cross-collaborative projects within squads to deliver company goals

·        Identify key high level business partnerships opportunities and work alongside the sales team where required

·        Guide strategic planning across nominated portfolio of clients including formulating sophisticated proposals and leading on negotiations
