Sales Manager Neurology - South West UK/Wales

In this role you will be responsible for selling a leading range of neurology and IONM solutions into high dependence environments and wards of hospitals in the public and private sector. Tasked with increasing sales from existing accounts and generating new business the Sales Manager will be involved in all aspects of the clinical sale – including clinical training and managing study days.

We are looking for a strong and communicative personality with a competent and convincing appearance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new customers and support of existing customers through sales-oriented relationship management to the top decision makers and other key people in the clinic
  • Cooperation with our specialized trade partners
  • Content and commercial responsibility for the assigned sales region (market, customer, Stakeholder management, pricing and conditions design) in the area of neurology and IONM
  • Professional area management including turnover and contribution margin responsibility
  • Implement strategic sales and marketing activities to maximize market share
  • Efficient communication and collaboration with the sales, service and marketing team members
  • Sales preparation and follow-up, such as compiling product information, organization of product demonstrations or customer events, as well as offer preparation and support with tenders
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM system, creating order and sales forecasts, providing information on market share and profit / loss of orders, participation in tenders

Your Profile

  • You have several years of experience in the field of medical technology and preferably first sales experience in the medical device environment
  • Ability to negotiate and conduct business with clients at all levels within the public health sector and in private hospitals
  • Good product knowledge in the field of neurology/neuromonitoring 
  • Good knowledge of IONM, evoked potential, EMG and EEG
  • Outstanding communication skills, negotiating skills, assertiveness, a high degree of willingness to take responsibility, a confident and skilled manner and a high degree of personal initiative characterize you
  • Strong teamwork skills to work remotely as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
